Just wanted to say how much I am enjoying the podcast lately. I wouldn’t worry about trying to get an interview every week. The last couple of episodes have been among the most enjoyable so far, for me. Thanks for all of your hard work people.
Thank you for that feedback. We’ve got some really good interviews lined up for the future episodes, however, with the last two we all agreed that it felt right to put them out with the 10:23 interviews they had.
A thought about homeopathy. I think many users of homeopathic “remedies” are into “natural” products, are “green”, eat “organic” food, etc. What is the environmental footprint of homeopathy? Producing, packaging, shipping, and retailing this stuff all has an impact on the environment, produces greenhouse gases, etc. Shouldn’t the consumers of this stuff be concerned about whether what they’re getting is really worth the environmental harm they’re causing?
Hi guys, love the podcast. Good to hear interviews from the ten23 event, just to let you know I went to the Liverpool event and made a little video on it:

Incidentally, American football is rubbish but baseball is an enjoyable past-time. You go there, have some beer, have a chat, watch the game, sing ‘Take me out to the ball game’ in the seventh inning stretch, and just have a nice relaxing time. If you like watching cricket, you’ll like watching baseball.
Yankee football on the other hand, is crap. It has two major differences from rugby:
1: You can pass the ball forwards
2: You can tackle someone when they don’t have the ball
So Marsh’s view is correct: the person who has the ball has to throw it to someone in the end zone, and if they catch it they score (they don’t even have to put the ball down, so I don’t know why they call it a touchdown). Everyone else is ‘blocking’, which does just look like a fight.
However, what makes it truly awful is the fact that they stop for adverts after every play. You might get 8 seconds of the game, followed by a three minute break, followed by a further ten seconds, then another ad break. It’s so infuriating I can’t even begin to describe it.
